Which piece or theme inspires you?
The first step is to identify which piece you connect with. You may have already seen a piece at an art show or online. You're also welcome to visit the studio which can be helpful to see the color and texture in person.
Size
Let me know where the artwork will be displayed and the desired dimensions. I typically work in 6-inch increments based on standard canvas size, but I can build custom sizes for a surcharge if needed.

Customization
Next, we discuss what will make your piece unique. In general there are 3 things to decide on: color-palette, texture, and composition.
For example: Perhaps you're drawn to the Lake-Swimmers-3 piece for its colors but also really like the unique texture and minimal composition of people in Swimmer-#7.
If you have special requests—like adding figures or personal details—let me know! Many people have me paint in a specific figure or grouping to represent themselves or family. It's never obvious or distracting, but its fun customization only they know about.
Pricing
Pricing is based on size, although in some circumstances, complexity or special requests may be a factor.
Smaller pieces start around $1000. For sample pricing, refer to the Originals section of the website.
Discounts are available for cash-payment and flexible scheduling.
Once we agree on the details, a 10% deposit gets things started, with the balance due upon completion.
Timeframe
Typically, it takes me 30-60 days to finish the piece. I’ll share progress updates along the way. If you need it sooner, I offer expedited options, or I can offer discounts for a more flexible timeline.
NOTE: My current commission queue is about 10+, so plan for 60-90 days instead.
